Turkey Dinner Set For Nov. 8

— Following opening prayer, the congregation joined in singing. “Nothing but the Blood.”

The Turkey Dinner will be Nov. 8.

We will begin serving at 5 p.m. in Fellowship Hall with takeout meals beginning earlier.

We fed the Wolves for their last home game this season.

Readings for Nov. 4: Ruth 1:1-18; Psalm 146; Hebrews 9:11-14; Mark 12:28-34.

The Call to Worship wasPsalm 146 and the Scripture Reading was Hebrews 7:23-28.

Following Joys and Concerns was “Stand Up and Bless the Lord” and the choir sang, “Where the Soul Never Dies.”

The Rev. Gary Lunsford presented “You will Never Know until You Ask” from Mark 10:46-52 including the story of Jesus healing the blind beggar.

The Hymn of Invitationwas “Wonderful Words of Life.”
