PRAIRIE GROVE -- Not many anglers were out last weekend due to cold and rain, so lake manager Dennis Kruse had to fish to get a report for the weekend.
"Tough job," Kruse said grinning, noting he did well on bass, catching several in the 3-pound range with many others smaller.
"[There was] nothing on crappie, but it should only be a matter of time till they move shallow to spawn," Kruse said.
