LINCOLN

Easter Egg Hunt

Lincoln Area Ministerial Brotherhood (L.A.M.B.) will be sponsoring a Community Egg Hunt, Saturday April 19, at 10 a.m. on the Lincoln Square. About 1,000 eggs filled with candy will be hidden on the square. There will be four age groups with a grand prize for each group. Free photos with the Easter Bunny will be taken. Other activities include games, facing painting, and the Easter Story read by one of the pastors from L.A.M.B. The public is invited to attend this special event.

Sunrise Service

Lincoln Area Community Sunrise Service will be held Sunday, April 20, 7 a.m., at the Liberty Baptist Church at Dutch Mills. The Rev. Gary Lunsford, pastor of Central United Methodist in Lincoln will be the speaker. There will be food and refreshments after the service. Host Pastor Jason Taylor and the congregation of Liberty Baptist Church invite everyone to attend.

PRAIRIE GROVE

Pet Clinic

Prairie Grove will sponsor a "Chip-Shot" Clinic from 1-4 p.m., Saturday, April 26 in the parking lot for City Hall and the police department. Services will include $12 for a pet microchip inserted onsite and $8 for rabies shot onsite by licensed vet. City pet tags also will be available for purchase and pet owners can apply for spay or neutering appointments. The rabies and microchips are available for pets in the area, not limited to Prairie Grove residents.

Spring Breakfast

First United Methodist Church women's Friendship Circle is hosting the annual Spring Breakfast on Saturday, April 12, from 7:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at 1401 E. Parks St., in Prairie Grove. Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy are being served. Adults $5, children ages 4-12 $3, ages 3 and under free. Come out and enjoy a great breakfast; to-go boxes will be available.

FARMINGTON

Library Amnesty

Farmington Public Library is celebrating National Library Week from April 14-19. The celebration includes amnesty, fine discounts, and a prize drawings. Any item brought back during this week will receive amnesty regardless of how overdue it is. Any patron who comes to update their account will receive 50 percent off fines on items that have been previously returned. Amnesty does not include fines for damaged items or items belonging to other library locations, and any patron seeking amnesty must return the items to the front desk. Easter Cantata

Liberty Baptist Adult Choir will present "The Day He Worn My Crown" Easter Cantata, directed by Jim Bartholomew on Sunday April 13, 11 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, Dutch Mills. Everyone is welcome to come and worship with the congregation.

SPRINGDALE

Monthly Meeting

A monthly meeting of the Northwest Arkansas Handweavers Guild will take place on April 12 at 10 a.m. at the Arts Center of the Ozarks in Springdale. Anyone interested can join the group for ideas and information about weaving around the area; lots of sharing, fellowship and fun.
