Man Arrested For Child Pornography

A Lincoln man was arrested Sept. 23 in connection with child pornography, according to a report from the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Edward McMahon, 61, lived at 612 County Ave., across the street from Lincoln Elementary School.

Homeland Security investigators and officers with Internet Crimes Against Children task force, arrested McMahon following a search of his home, according the the news report.

McMahon told a deputy he down loaded and traded child pornography within a social media site called "VK.com," according to the report. He said he had about 250 videos of child pornography on his laptop.

Authorities confiscated two laptop computers, a thumb drive, CDs and DVDs, according to the report.

McMahon is being held at the Washington County Detention Center facing felony charges on possession of child pornography. Bond was set at $10,000.
