Catt Named All-Star

PRAIRIE GROVE -- A U.S. 62 stalwart runningback has been named among the 2015 West All-Star football roster.

Prairie Grove senior Bobby Catt, who played runningback at 5-foot-9, 210 pounds, has been selected as a West All-Star. All-Star selections were announced recently by the Arkansas Activities Association.

West head coach is Greg Kendrick, of Charleston; with assistants: Bobby Bolding, Pine Bluff; Kyle Jackson, Gurdon; Josh Price, Dardanelle; Chris Vereen, Hot Springs; Jeff Williams, Fort Smith Southside; and Brett Hobbs, Charleston. East head coach is David Carpenter, of Junction City, with assistants: Clint Ashcraft, Conway; James Hembree, Warren; Chris Hill, Wynne; Todd Langrell, Mayflower; Bryan Ross, Siloam Springs; and Brad Smith, Junction City.

Ironically, Siloam Springs, situated along the Oklahoma border on the far western portion of Arkansas is represented on the East squad due to conference alignments.
