Spring Cleanup
Lincoln's annual Spring Cleanup is April 20-24. Items that can be picked up by the Solid Waste Department on regular trash days at no cost will be furniture, electronic components, appliances. The following items will not be picked up: batteries, tires, construction debris, hazardous waste.
FARMINGTON
Kindergarten Registration
Kindergarten Registration for the 2015-2016 school year will be held May 7 from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. at Folsom and Williams Elementary schools. Kindergarten students must turn 5 on or before Aug. 1, 2015, to register. Please bring your kindergarten student with you on registration day in order for them to complete a short screening.
Spring Cleanup
Spring cleanup for city of Farmington will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday, April 24, and 7:30 a.m. to noon, Saturday, April 25. It will include free electronics recycling. No household trash, hazardous waste, paint, oil, gas, tires, refrigerants or yard waste will be allowed. Proof of residence required. Location is behind fire department on Main Street.
WEDINGTON
Fire Department Spaghetti Dinner
Wedington Volunteer Fire Department is having a spaghetti dinner Saturday, April 18. Prices are: adults $6, children 6-12 $2 and under 6 free. The fire department is located on Highway 16 West, 5 miles from I-49.
PRAIRIE GROVE
Drug Drop-Off Day
Prairie Grove Police Department will sponsor a day for citizens to drop off expired prescription drugs and over the counter drugs at its Take-Back Box. The disposal box will be available outside on the police department parking lot for drop-offs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25.
