What's Happening At The Library

I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving and that you enjoyed your friends and family.

We have out all our Christmas books and movies. We have Christmas craft books and cookbooks, romance and mysteries that fit the season, too.

We will have a safety meeting on Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. and will be temporarily closed. Thank you for your patience and understanding on this matter. We will be closed Dec. 24-25 for the Christmas holidays. We will be open again on Dec.26. There will be no GED classes from Dec. 22 until next year and Fall Story Time with Sherry Rodgers will end Dec. 17. I will let you know when the classes will start up again.

People are always so surprised when I tell them that a library card is free and can be used anywhere in Washington County except in Fayetteville. They are also surprised to find out that we have DVDs, VHS tapes and CD books all for free and can be checked out for two weeks! I guess word gets around slow.

Don't forget "Christmas on the Square" is this Saturday from 5:30 to 8 p.m. It includes, Santa, pony rides and a chicken dinner, with all the sides. The event it free and open to the public. Your library ladies will be there dishing out supper!

Come by and see us.

Merry Christmas!!
