FARMINGTON -- Colors Day was celebrated with a coronation at Cardinal Arena on Feb. 6 prior to varsity basketeball games against Maumelle.
The 2015 Farmington High School Colors Day court was presented by class.
Freshman maid: Morgan Matthews, daughter of Josh and Marla Matthews, escorted by Taylor Carbonel, son of German and Evalena Carbonel; and Conner Hill, son of Dale and Amy Hill.
Sophomore maids: Tayton Hopkins, daughter of Eddie and Dodie Hopkins, escorted by Jarred Osnes, son of Kevin Osnes and Shelly Pouge; and Grant Patrick, son of Scott Patrick and Angela Dooly; and Emily Storm, daughter of Kenny and Tina Storm, escorted by Carson Sharp, son of Kelley and Lisa Sharp; and Matthew Thomas, son of Wade Thomas and Kelly Penn.
Junior maids: Robyn Behnia, daughter of Cyrus Behnia and Tiffany Pearson, escorted by Grant Thornton, son of Sean and Kristina Thornton; and Brice Waggle, son of Josh and Kelley Waggle; Bailey Fowler, daughter of Steven and Joyce Fowler, escorted by Will Warren, son of Travis and Cassie Warren; and Matthew Wilson, son of Bobby and Dawn Wilson; and Olivia DePew, daughter of Craig and Stefanie DePew, carried the queen's crown and Ethan Hornbeck, son of Si and Anna Hornbeck, carried the king's trophy. The attendants were escorted by Jenice Smith, daughter of Isaac and Michelle Navarro.
Senior king candidates were: TJ Askegaard, son of John and Terri Askegaard, escorted by Laney Dorman, daughter of Herbert Dorman and Hope Dorman; Josh Blew, son of James and Connie Blew, escorted by Carley Gray, daughter of Mike and Karen Gray; Derek Munter, son of Tony and Becky Munter, escorted by Kaitlin Robinson, daughter of Greg and April Robinson; and Tarren Pettigrew, son of Alonzo and Tina Pettigrew, escorted by Maria McPherson, daughter of Robert and Cecilia McPherson.
Senior queen candidates were: Kynleigh Bond, daughter of Richard and Amy Bond, escorted by Skylar Barnes, son of Bleaux and Samantha Barnes; Kristi DuChanois, daughter of Lee and Janice DuChanois, escorted by Jeremy Mueller, son of John and Angela Mueller; Brooke Larkin, daughter of Johnny and Lisa Larkin, escorted by Flint Oxford, son of Jeff and Ree Oxford; and Alexis White, daughter of Ashley White and Amy White, escorted by Mac Spears, son of Randy and Dawna Spears.
Lauren Blackburn, Farmington's 2014 Color's Day queen, daughter of Trevitt and Debby Blackburn, returned to crown Askegaard as 2015 Color's Day king; and, in turn, Askegaard, crowned Larkin as 2015 Color's day queen.
Farmington High School Student Council President, KayLynne Shaw, daughter of George and Leslie Shaw, presented Larkin with the queen's bouquet.
