Looking to February

"If you don't like the Arkansas weather, just wait."

Well, for two or three months, there wasn't much change, until last week, three or four days of bright sunshine, so surprising, and bringing the query, "reckon it will ever rain again?" (Some Arkansas humor)

Suddenly, here is February, the American Heart month (because of Valentine's Day?); cherry month (because of the story of George Washington cutting down the cherry tree?); also bake for family fun, library lovers, bird feeding, hot breakfast, grapefruit month.

Eleven people were hanging on a rope under a helicopter, 10 men and one woman. The rope was not strong enough to carry them all, so they decided one had to leave, because otherwise they were all going to fall.

They were not able to name that person until the woman gave a very touching speech. She said she would voluntarily let go of the rope because as a woman, she is used to giving up everything for her husband and her children, or men in general, and was used to always making sacrifices with little in return.
