Fill The Bus To Help Children

There are 26,000 children living in poverty across Northwest Arkansas. Many of these children do not experience the excitement of starting a new school year fully prepared. These students often begin the school year without a new backpack, or pencils and paper and without the tools they need to learn.

United Way of Northwest Arkansas and Walmart have partnered with Coca-Cola to collect school supplies during the United Way Fill the Bus event Friday, July 22 and Saturday, July 23. The goal is to make sure that every child, no matter income level, is set up for success on the first day of school. School supplies can be donated at any Walmart Supercenter location in Northwest Arkansas:

In this area, Fayetteville Walmart Supercenter on Martin Luther King Boulevard will be accepting items to fill the bus.
