Three-Car Accident Injures One

FARMINGTON -- One person was taken to the hospital following a three-car accident at Main Street and Rheas Mill Road in Farmington last week.

According to a Farmington police report, Laura Hendricks, 85, of Lincoln, driving a Hyundai, was west bound on Main Street when her vehicle collided with a Ford truck driven by Seth Troilo, 19, of Fayetteville. Troilo was traveling south on Rheas Mill Road toward Yukon Way.

The collision caused Hendricks' vehicle to roll, upright itself across the highway, hitting a third vehicle driven by Tanner Keen, 19, of Farmington. Keen was stopped in the outside east bound lane on Main Street for a red traffic light.

Hendricks was taken by Central Emergency Medical Service to Washington Regional Medical Center. She was found to be at fault for the accident for failing to stop for a red light at the intersection of Main and Rheas Mill.

The accident occurred at 12:30 p.m., May 17.
