Community Dinner
Bethel Grove will have its community dinner at 6:30 p.m., Friday, Dec. 2 at the community building. James McKinney and the Southern Justice band will play at 7 p.m. Bring a covered dish.
FARMINGTON
Christmas Parade
Farmington Kiwanis Christmas Parade will be held 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, from Folsom Elementary to Farmington United Methodist Church. Activities, including a chili supper and silent auction, will be held beginning at 5 p.m. at Folsom Elementary on Grace Lane. Music groups will also perform at Folsom. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served after the parade at the church.
FAYETTEVILLE
Historical Open House
Washington County Historical Society will host its annual Open House, 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 4 at the Headquarters House at 118 W. Dickson Street. Refreshments will be served and visitors can view the Historic Headquarters House interior at no cost.
LINCOLN
Christmas On The Square
Lincoln's annual Christmas on the Square will be 5-8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10. The event includes free chicken and hot dog dinner, visits with Santa, pony rides and refreshments.
PRAIRIE GROVE
Masonic Lodge Breakfast
Occidental Masonic Lodge #436 will host a breakfast 6-10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 at 114 N. Mock St. The breakfast will be eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, milk, juice and coffee. Donations will be accepted to assist the Lodge in awarding scholarships to outstanding Prairie Grove and Farmington graduating seniors.
Senior Center Santa Breakfast
Prairie Grove Senior Activity and Wellness Center will have Breakfast with Santa, 8-10 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 3. Cost for a country breakfast is $7. Children under 10 can eat all the pancakes they want for free. Proceeds Benefit Meals on Wheels.
Jazz Band Dance
Prairie Grove Jazz Band will have its annual dance at 7 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3 at Prairie Grove High School cafeteria. Cost is $5 entry fee. Wear your tackiest Christmas sweater and come have a night of food, fun, dancing and music.
Prairie Grove Christmas
Prairie Grove Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor its Old Fashioned Christmas 4-6 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 10. It will include Santa and children's activities at Fat Rolls and a beans and cornbread dinner at the Chamber building.
Breakfast With Santa
First United Methodist women will host "Breakfast With Santa," 8-11 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 10. Cash donations are accepted and they are also taking donations of socks to be given to 7 Hills homeless shelter. Breakfast is included in the donation.
