School Annual Report

The annual report to the public for Farmington School District will be given at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25 in the school board room in the administrative building. Superintendent Bryan Law will give the report.

PRAIRIE GROVE

Haunted Night On Battlefield

Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park will host Haunted Night on the Battlefield, 7-9:30 p.m. Oct. 29. Admission is $2 adults, $1 children ages 3-12. Meeting place is amphitheater. The evening includes a self-guided tour of information booths and a historical scene around the Borden House Area, as well as local paranormal investigator booths. Free kettle corn and hot cider will be served. Free parking.

Trunk Or Treat

Prairie Grove Police Department will have its annual Trunk or Treat at Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park, 4-7:30 p.m., Oct. 29. This year's event will include inflatable play areas for older and younger children.

Free E-Waste Disposal

Boston Mountain Solid Waste District is accepting electronics for free until October 31. Items included are stereos, televisions, computers, microwaves, satellite boxes, VCR's, DVD players and cell phones. The district is located between Prairie Grove and Lincoln at 11398 Bond Road. Hours are 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday- Friday and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

Friends' Bookstore

Friends of Prairie Grove Library has a used bookstore open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesdays and Saturdays. It is located at 311 E. Buchanan Street. Come browse and look for a favorite book.
