Voter Registration

Farmington High School's Student Political Activist Association will sponsor a voter registration drive for the school and the public from 3:30- 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at the high school. To register to vote, a person must be a U.S. citizen, be 18 years old on or before Nov. 8 and must have a valid photo ID.

New Evolutionist Church

The Society of Christian Evolutionists will meet at 5 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 22 in room 405 at Fayetteville Library to discuss starting a new church in Farmington. If interested, call Ramona, 479-267-1994 for more information.

Hee Haw Show

Lincoln Senior Center will host a Hee Haw show Saturday, Sept. 24, at the center. Tickets are $10 and the meal will be a brisket dinner. Dinner will start at 6 p.m. with the show to follow at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the center or call 479-841-9514.

Arkansas Apple Festival

The Apple Festival will be held on Lincoln Square, Sept. 30-Oct. 2. Arts and crafts fair opens 9 a.m. Friday and closes at 5 p.m. Sunday. Festival includes live music, concessions, craft booths, free apple slices and games and inflatables for children.

Apple Festival Talent Show

Country Breakfast

Wedington Fire Department will have its annual Country Breakfast, 6-11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24. Cost is adults, $6; ages 6-12, $2; under 6, free. The fire station is located on Highway 16 West, 5 miles from I-49, Exit 64.
