Schools Score Touchdown Dollars

Farmington, Prairie Grove and Lincoln football teams scored money along with their touchdowns during the 2016 season.

Prairie Grove Telephone Co., sponsored $30 for each touchdown scored by the Cardinals, Tigers and Wolves.

In all, the three teams scored 157 touchdowns in the fall, with Prairie Grove accounting for more than half of the total.

PG Telco presented the money to the schools during recent basketball games.

Prairie Grove received $2,580 for 86 touchdowns. Farmington received $1,110 for 37 touchdowns and Lincoln was given $1,020 for 34 touchdowns.

"It's an honor for PG Telco to support the youth in our area," said Sandy Anderson, sales and marketing manager.
