FFA has changed my life in many ways.
If it weren't for FFA and my schedule consisting of mainly ag classes, I don't think I would have enjoyed high school at all. Even though I was raised on a farm, FFA has taught me about so many different aspects of agriculture that I never knew existed. Joining the FFA and going on judging trips has helped me find a new passion that I never knew about.
My plan is to take my passion for forestry and turn it into a career that I can hopefully retire from someday. I have made a lot of great, life-long friends and contacts through this great organization. If it weren't for FFA and ag classes I'm not sure where I would be today. I would probably be getting ready to go to college for something I'm not passionate about and might have ended up dropping out of college.
