Rainy Forecast Affects 14th Cardinal Car Classic

FARMINGTON -- A rainy forecast for Saturday probably affected turnout for the 14th annual Cardinal Car Classic, held in Farmington High parking lot.

The rain did not come during the event and participants who showed up, about 32 vehicles and owners, enjoyed the day listening to music, visiting with each other, winning door prizes and trophies. The car show has had more than 100 cars in the past.

1934 Ford 3-Window Coupe, owned by Tommy Easterling of Farmington.

Best of Show

1949 Chevy Special Coupe, owned by Jason Henry, address unknown.

Work in Progress

1965 Mustang, owned by Wyatt Grogan of Farmington.

Cardinal Car Classic is sponsored by Farmington School District, with proceeds to benefit high school groups.
