Junior Bank Board Members Get Literacy Education

Arvest Bank in Prairie Grove, Lincoln, Farmington and West Fork each year sponsors an Arvest Junior Bank Board for juniors and seniors from high schools in the four communities.

The students meet monthly and financial literacy is a big part of their meetings. They also plan fundraisers to raise money for an annual educational trip to tour the Federal Reserve. A popular fundraiser for the junior bank boards is pecan sales, which will begin around Nov. 1 and continue through the end of 2017.

Students selected to serve on the Arvest Junior Bank Boards for 2017-18 are:

Prairie Grove: Maria Luisa Akey, Ben Beason, Taylor Caudle, John David Elder, Lexie Madewell, Glory Parrish, Coral Prince, Emily Smith, Sarah James Stone, Madison Vinson.

Farmington: Sydney Broudrey, Nicholas Erickson, Trinity Gonzales, Caden Gray, Javan Jowers, Conner Kersey, Julia Knox, Johnan Mitchell, Seth Swain, Coleman Warren.

Lincoln: Adam Keith, Ayden Massey, Jenifer Thao, Kali Brewer, Elida Cuevas, Jennifer Ngo, Samantha Drain, Olyvia Gonzalez, Allison Cunningham, Makala Fox.

West Fork: Abby Simco, Amber Conner, Bailee Mason, Brenna McAdoo, Brooke Tedford, Hunter Hardin, Kendall Grace Hays, Landry Lichty, Sidney Brock, Zac Pope.
