FARMINGTON

Community Fall Fest

Farmington First Church of the Nazarene, 9 South Cherry St., will sponsor a Fall Fest Outreach Event and a Classic Car Show for the community. The Fall Fest will be held 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, at the church. It will include inflatables, face painting, live music, free food and many prize giveaways. The event is free to the public.

FAYETTEVILLE

Pedal Poker Run

Washington County senior centers will sponsor their annual Pedal Poker Run to benefit Meals on Wheels on Saturday, Oct. 14. Registration is at Fayetteville Senior Activity and Fitness Center. First bike goes out at 9 a.m. Fee is $25, includes kick off dinner on Friday night, one raffle ticket and a t-shirt to the first 50 riders. Best poker hand wins $500, second place $200, third place $100.

PRAIRIE GROVE

Annual Report to Public

Prairie Grove School District will give its annual Report to the Public at 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 16 in the board room. The report will include general and financial information, school district policies, Acceptable Use Policy and Content Filter (for internet use), instruction goals, progress and performance, steps to correct deficiencies and a question and comment time for the public.

Afterschool Encampment

Monday evenings in October (except for the 30th): 4-5 p.m. "After-School Encampment" is a free weekly program for children ages 6-12. Each week's activity will focus on a different theme, craft, or skill. Kids, wear sturdy walking shoes and bring water. Snacks and craft supplies are provided. Meet at Hindman Hall Museum.

Driving Tour: Prairie Grove Campaign

Join the staff of Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park on a guided driving tour of sites related to the Prairie Grove Campaign, from 2-4 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 14. Stops along the way include Rhea's Mill, Cane Hill, and Walnut Grove. Attendees will drive their own vehicles while following park staff. For more information, call Hindman Hall at 479-846-2990. $10 per vehicle. Meet at Hindman Hall Museum.
