Michael Raymond Asher

Michael Raymond Asher, 61, of Prairie Grove, Ark., died March 23, 2018.

He was born Sept. 10, 1956, in Sea Side, Ore., to Joel Asher Sr. and Joyce Boren Asher.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by three sons, Jeremy Asher and his wife Sara, Joel Asher, and Chance Asher; one brother, Joel Asher Jr.; three sisters, Beth Ramirez, Mary Brown, and Christie Barker; three granddaughters; and four grandsons.

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Summers Missionary Baptist Church, 22055 U.S. Highway 62 West, Summers, AR 72769.

Norris G. Bogan

Norris G. Bogan, 85, of Farmington, Ark., died Thursday, March 29, 2018, in Fayetteville, Ark.

He was born Dec. 26, 1932, in Fayetteville, the son of LeRoy and Jewel Ballou Bogan. He was retired from sales and was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Fayetteville. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Violet Bogan; a daughter, Leilani Hedrick and her husband David of Fayetteville; a son, Robert Bogan and his wife Cindy of Farmington; a brother, Kenneth Bogan of Fayetteville; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Graveside service was 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Shady Grove Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel. Memorials may be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 2901 East Zion Road, Suite 17, Fayetteville, AR 72703.

Janice Louise Bryant

Janice Louise Bryant, 85, of Lincoln, Ark., passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018, at her home.

She was born Aug. 30, 1932, in Sheridan, Wyo., the daughter of Earl and Carrie (Hiames) Hammond. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lincoln and was a member of the Gideon's Auxillary. After retirement she enjoyed 30 years of making handcrafts and gardening and loved to pass on her handcrafts and gardening to friends and customers at the Fayetteville Farmers Market. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very near and dear to her heart. She also enjoyed the time she spent with her church family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Hammond; mother, Carrie Hammond; stepmother, Susan Hammond; and one sister, Chloe Smith.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Harry Bryant; five children, Dean Bryant and wife Kim of Hoyt, Kan., Bruce Bryant of Muscatine, Iowa, Beth Weinbrenner and husband Marc of Williamsburg, Iowa, Blair Bryant and wife Laurie of Los Angeles, California, and Steven Bryant and wife Randi of Muscatine, Iowa; three sisters, Hope McLaughlin of Enterprise, Ore., Audrey Wirtz of Dows, Iowa, and Alice Brook of Reno, Nev.; 11 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Lincoln.

Samuel Lee Cluck

Samuel Lee Cluck, 62, of Sallisaw, Okla., passed away Monday, March 26, 2018, in Sallisaw.

He was born Feb. 22, 1956, in Fayetteville, Ark., the son of Charles Matthew and Patricia Ann (Morrow)Cluck.

He was a member of the Morrow Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents, Wilson and Pauline Morrow and Jimmy and Mae Cluck; and two uncles, Otis Cluck and Keith Morrow.

Survivors include two sons, Chris Cluck and Charles Cluck; his mother, Patsy Cluck; one brother, Eric Cluck; three sisters, Anita Young, Charlotte Allee and husband Mike, and Regina Tomlinson; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family received friends Saturday, March 31, 2018, from 10-11 a.m. with the funeral starting at 11 a.m. at Morrow Methodist Church in Morrow, Ark. Burial was in the Bethesda Cemetery.

Karen Lark Ezell

Karen Lark Ezell, 67, of Goshen, Ark., passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018, at her home.

She was born March 31, 1950, in Cisco, Texas, the daughter of Raymond and Carolynn (Fewell) Penn.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Eugene Ezell; one daughter, Amy; her father, Raymond Penn; and her stepfather, Lewis Carr.

Survivors include two sons, Wesley Ezell and Gary Ezell and wife Amy all of Lincoln, Ark.; one daughter, Sarah Ezell of Goshen; her mother, Carolynn Carr of Goshen; one brother, Mark Carr and wife Mary of Midwest City, Okla.; one sister, Lisa Taylor and husband Ted of Elkins, Ark.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with burial in the Mountain View Cemetery in Lincoln.

Max Leon Kammerer Sr.

Max Leon Kammerer Sr., 83, of Lincoln, Ark., passed away Saturday, March 31, 2018, in Fayetteville, Ark.

He was born April 12, 1934, in Goodrich, Mich., the son of Albert and Anna (Green) Kammerer. He served in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Viola Kammerer; one daughter, Joyce Ann Kammerer; four brothers, Bill, Chuck, Ray, and Paul Kammerer; and one sister, Maxine Jewett.

Survivors include two sons, Max Kammerer Jr. of Seaside, Calif., and David Kammerer of Mulberry, Ark.; one daughter, Anna Disterhaupt of Lincoln; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at the Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held 10 a.m Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark., and there will be no graveside services held.
