Community Dinner
Bethel Grove will have its monthly community dinner, Friday, May 4 at the community building. The dinner is at 6:30 p.m. and music with Shawn Whorton is at 7 p.m. Bring a covered dish for the meal.
FAYETTEVILLE
Plant Sale
Northwest Arkansas Master Naturalists will be selling native plants at the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks annual plant sale on Saturday, April 28 from 8 a.m. to noon. Native trees, shrubs, grasses and flowering perennials will be available to purchase. Flowers and grasses are selling for $6/plant. Trees and shrubs are $17 each.
Driver Safety Class
AARP will sponsor a driver safety class at 9 a.m.,Saturday, April 28 at Central United Methodist Church, 6 E. Dickson St, in Fayetteville. Cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. The class lasts four hours.
FARMINGTON
Mayor's Prayer Breakfast
The fourth annual Mayor's Prayer Breakfast will be held 6:45-7:30 a.m. Thursday, May 3, at the Farmington Senior Center, 340 W. Main St. The event is sponsored by area churches and all Farmington residents are invited. Refreshments and coffee will be provided.
PRAIRIE GROVE
Chamber Bowling Tournament
Prairie Grove Area Chamber of Commerce will have its annual bowling tournament Thursday, May 17, at Ozark Lanes in Fayetteville. Cost is $15/person or $60 per team and includes two rounds of bowling and shoe rental. There will be three divisions: men's, women's, coed. The field is limited to 24 teams.
