PRAIRIE GROVE -- Prairie Grove has plenty of offensive firepower in the 1-2 punch of guards D.J. Pearson and Will Pridmore and Lincoln couldn't keep pace in a 64-36 game Friday.

Prairie Grove knocked down 11 total 3-pointers in the Tigers' runaway victory, their second over Lincoln this season. Pearson made four 3-pointers and 20 points while Pridmore contributed a trio of trifectas and 19 points.

A 21-point third quarter performance put the game out of reach. Prairie Grove snapped five 3-pointers in the third to take a commanding 51-28 lead going into the fourth as they rebounded from a disappointing overtime loss at home to Shiloh Christian on Jan. 30.

"It was good timing for us with senior night there's a little added motivation," said Prairie Grove coach Steve Edmiston. "Senior night helped us recoup it a bit. Lincoln shot it well early, but we managed to maintain it defensively. We controlled the rebounds at both ends of the floor. For our seniors, we got an opportunity to get everybody in the game and they all got a basket except Gabe LeDuc. Our bench was jumping up yelling for them. You like to see that kind of camaraderie in your team."

The first quarter was the most competitive portion of the game. Pearson and Johnson opened the game burying 3-pointers for Prairie Grove. Lincoln got a 3-pointer from Braden Umberson and a pair of buckets by Caleb Hale. After Pridmore's free throws, Troy Sugg released down-court where Sterling Morphis found him for a layup. Demarkus Cooper's trey and Pridmore's left-handed drive to the basket following a charging call against Lincoln gave the Tigers a 17-9 lead, but Troy Sugg and Brance Sugg answered with a 3-pointers, sandwiched around Pridmore's going the basketball field goal courtesy of Millwood's assist.

The Tigers led 19-15 after the first quarter and extended the margin to 30-19 at halftime when Lincoln was held to four points in the second.

Morphis was the only Wolf in double figures. He finished with 11 points.
