A few weekends ago, several members of the Farmington FFA traveled to Hot Springs for the 360/Greenhand Leadership Conference. While our Freshmen and 8th Grade members spent time with the FFA State Officers, older members got to learn ways to improve our chapter from a pair who used to be members themselves.
The 360 conference focused on the importance of influence and how to become an influential leader, and the State Officers taught six sessions that focused on the opportunities FFA has to offer our Greenhands during their high school careers. The 360 conference was an enjoyable time, as it allowed me to grow as a leader and spread my influence. The Greenhands were talking up a storm about what they'd learned and the thing they did with the officers all the way home. It was a fun time for everyone, and I'm proud I was able to attend.
