AARP Driver Safety Class

An AARP Driver Safety Class will be held 9 a.m. Jan. 27 at Central United Methodist Church, 6 East Dickson St., in Fayetteville. Cost is $15 for members and $20 for non-members. Classes are designed for drivers over the age of 50. Completion of the course qualifies those students to receive an automobile insurance discount in the state of Arkansas. Chamber Banquet

Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce will have its annual banquet, 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at Lincoln High School. Steve Clark, president of Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce, will be the speaker. Tickets are two for $20, $12 for individual at the door. Awards presented will be recipient of the 18th Annual Bud Cox Award and presentation of the 2nd Annual John M. Harvey Outstanding Youth Award.
