LINCOLN -- Three Wolves represent Lincoln on the All-Conference team for 4A-1 football from the 2017 season: Trea Harrison, Braden Umberson and Hunter Phelan.

Trea Harrison

Harrison, the son of head coach Don Harrison, set each play in motion snapping the ball from center deep into the shotgun formation. Trea also played linebacker on defense. His size, strength and agility served as an asset to the Wolves on both sides of the ball.

Braden Umberson

A playmaker at wide receiver, Umberson did everything from possession catches to keep a drive alive, to running the ball out of the backfield or lining up at quarterback in the shotgun when Lincoln operated out of a Wildcat formation.

Umberson finished with 93 pass receptions for 1,105 yards and 12 touchdowns on the season. He averaged 11.9-yards-per-catch and ran the football 72 times for 310 yards, averaging 4.3 yards-a-carry. Despite those numbers, Umberson didn't get enough votes to be named All-State from a Lincoln squad that went 3-7.

In the regular season finale, a 56-25 loss at Prairie Grove, Umberson drew plenty of attention from the Tiger defense. He took several direct snaps in the Wildcat Formation in addition to playing receiver. Umberson did not find the end zone with so much of the defense focused on him, yet he contributed to Lincoln's only two scoring drives.

Prairie Grove opened up a 14-0 lead with 5:21 left in the first period.

Lincoln recovered an onside kick and drove 50 yards in 14 plays. Umberson caught a 12-yard pass on fourth-and-7. The drive was kept alive on another fourth down by a roughing-the-kicker penalty against Prairie Grove on a missed field goal attempt. Caleb Lloyd ran for an 8-yard touchdown and Paul Frogg kicked the extra-point to narrow Prairie Grove's lead to 14-7 with 1:59 left in the first quarter.

Hunter Phelan

Lincoln's 5-10, 155-pound junior linebacker had a nose for the ball. Phelan played wide receiver on offense and could get open to catch passes against defenses. He made 22 catches for 284 yards and 3 touchdowns, including a 38-yard scoring catch against Prairie Grove. Yet, his main value came as a linebacker for the 2017 football season. Phelan returned a fumble 37 yards for a touchdown on defense against Prairie Grove showing his big-play capability.
