FARMINGTON

Football Camp

Farmington is hosting a football camp for grades 4-9 on July 17 and 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Cost is $40-per-player or $60 for two siblings. Participants are asked to bring a form that can be downloaded from the Farmington Booster Club Facebook page listing their name, name of parent(s) and parental contact information with t-shirt size, and payment on the first day of camp. Players should dress in t-shirts, shorts and cleats. Water will be provided, but players may bring their own water bottle. HOT SPRINGS

Hall Of Fame Induction

Farmington athletic director and retired girls basketball coach Brad Blew will be inducted into the Arkansas Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Friday at the Hot Springs Convention Center.

Blew coached Farmington girls basketball from 1986-2009 guiding the Lady Cardinals to the 2004 State 3A championship. He coached two State Runner-up teams, reaching the state semifinals on eight occasions during a 10-year span.

Blew became Farmington athletic director in 2006, and supervised the construction of Cardinal Arena that opened in January 2015. He is currently involved in overseeing on-going construction of Farmington's new football stadium, track and field facilities and soccer field.

PRAIRIE GROVE

Baseball Camp

The Prairie Grove Dug Out Club is hosting a baseball camp for ages 8-15 on July 24-25 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Prairie Grove's Rieff Park. Camp coaches are: Tim Carver, a former Razorback who was drafted by Major League Baseball's Philadelphia Phillies; Chris Mileham, head baseball coach at Prairie Grove; Colton West, of Rogers State, former coach at Union Tennesee.

The camp features instruction on fielding, throwing, hitting, bunting and base-running. The camp is not limited to Prairie Grove residents. Campers from all communities are welcome. Cost is $45-per-participant. Campers will receive a t-shirt. Campers are responsible to bring their own individual baseball equipment including: gloves, hats, bats and helmets, as well as dress in baseball attire with baseball pants, cleats and hat.

Cheerleader Camp

Prairie Grove High School cheerleaders will host their annual Kiddie Camp Monday, July 30, through Thursday, Aug. 2, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Prairie Grove High School Gym.

This camp is open to all students Pre-K through seventh grade.

Cost for the camp is $45. A discount will be offered for families with multiple children attending: first child $45, each additional sibling $25. Campers will receive snacks and drinks each day as well as a t-shirt and photo package featuring a 5 x 7 group shot and two individual 4 x 6 shots.
