Library, Cool Place To Hang Out

Wow, is it hot or what!

Our Story Time with Ms. Leandra is starting to wind down for the summer. We have two days left, today, the 25th, and our awards ceremony, 10 a.m., Aug. 1. All the kids have been working hard on completing their book challenge goals. We are so proud of them. Ms. Leandra has had a magician, a musician and a rock painting party for part of the Summer Reading Program. If you would like to see pictures, go to Lincoln Library on Face Book and you can see all the latest things the kids have been doing. They sure have had a good time!

The rest of August, Ms. Leandra will be taking a break but we will always let you know when we get the information for the Fall "Toddler Time" and "Story Time."

We are still getting books and DVDs for you to enjoy, lots of gardening books, cookbooks, and even grilling books.

We also want to remind our teens that they can practice their driving skills on our computer at The Lincoln Public Library to get ready to take their tests. Even if you don't have a library card, we can get you a temporary computer pass. You have at least 1 hour to practice. We have also helped several drivers who have to watch the video to renew their CDL. We will help you get that set up and print off your award when you pass the test. No problem!

When its hot outside, The Lincoln Public Library is a cool place to hang out at. Come by and see us.

DIANNA PAYNE IS LIBRARY DIRECTOR AT LINCOLN PUBLIC LIBRARY.
