LINCOLN -- Lincoln light up the Green Forest scoreboard with 44-points in the first half including 30 in the second quarter during a 50-0 conference win Friday.

Lincoln scored two touchdowns in the first quarter. On second and 10 from the Green Forest 28, the Wolves lined up with a trio of receivers to the right. Noe Avellanda was the inside man and quarterback Caleb Lloyd threw the ball to him. Avellanda bobbled, then secured the catch as the inside linebacker and defensive back converged on him. Securing the ball turned him toward the goal line and he slipped past both and ran to the end zone.

Later in the first, Lloyd scored on a 1-yard run. Avellanda ran in a 2-point conversion putting Lincoln up 14-0.

Another Lincoln drive, this one in the second quarter featured the Wolves facing second-and-goal from the Green Forest 8. Cam Brown took an inside handoff and drove would-be tacklers backwards to score standing up. Brown had 114 yards rushing. Blake Arnold ran back a 62-yard punt return for a touchdown. Sterling Morphis caught Lloyd's 2-point conversion pass.

Trailing 28-0 Green Forest took to the air playing catch-up, but the quarterback telegraphed a pass and Arnold read the play stepping in front of the receiver to make a catch at the 30. Lickety-split he was in the end zone for another touchdown. Brown's 2-point run converted extra-points for Lincoln.

Lloyd passed to Avellanda for 18 yards and a first down at the Tiger 47. On the next play he lofted a pass to Levi Wright behind the secondary. The play nearly scored, but Wright stumbled and was pushed out of bounds at the three. Lloyd's quarterback sneak from a yard out closed out the drive. He added to the feat by finding Morphis for yet another 2-point conversion putting the Wolves up 44-0 at halftime.

Christian Crittenden scored on a 4-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
