FARMINGTON -- Farmington and Prairie Grove golfers tuned up for the District 4A-1 tournament with a practice round Monday, with the tournament held Tuesday at Cave Springs' "The Creeks" golf course.
Farmington's freshmen quartet playing varsity: Rhett South, Landon Lawson, Dakota Bogan, and Clayton Antwine, went into district with a goal of qualifying as a team for state.
"Being freshmen their overall goal is to make it to state as freshmen playing high school golf," said Farmington coach Randy Osnes.
The State tournament will be held this coming Tuesday, Sept. 25, at "The Creeks."
