On transition to Farmington: "This is my first year at Farmington High School and they definitely welcomed me and brought me into the family and it is an honor to be on here. I would never change it for the world, I mean best team out here, best coaches and I'm privileged and honored to be a part of it. It's very exciting to be a part of a great softball program that also helps me grow and develop."
Favorite verse: John 3:16
On hitting grand slam home run at Gentry: "He [her dad Shohn Doty] actually just walked in right when I hit it. I mean I tell you I guess it was fate for him to see it. It took him awhile to find the grand-slam ball, they had to have four people out there. He chuckled cause whenever I was little he used to say, 'I used to just hit warning track and they said nothing about warning track' but now that I'm starting to get a little stronger he was pretty excited. He said 'now they can start talking about you because you're hitting a little bit of home runs.'"
Team goals: "Our number one goal is to win state, go to state and be confident but first we got to grow better as a team, go strong. We need to come together more and just win as many games as we can, boost up our confidence and walk like we're ready to win."
On Farmington softball coach Randy Osnes: "He's a very good coach, I mean he's hard on us but he also makes us a better player and a better person. He gets us pumped before a game. Playing for him my first year and him not losing a conference game that's hard on me so I've got to work extra hard and make sure to play for my teammates and to play for him. He's wonderful to work for, I love it."
Notable: Father, Shohn Doty, is associate head baseball coach and pitching coach at University of Arkansas at Fort Smith; Bethany hit first career grand-slam home run against Gentry to break scoreless tie propelling Farmington to 11-0 win on April 1.
