Farm Credit of Western Arkansas' commitment to farmers, rural homeowners and rural communities in Washington County continues as they break ground at a new location on Heritage Parkway in Prairie Grove.

The new office location will open in early summer and replaces the current Farm Credit office in Fayetteville. Assistant Vice President Daniel Keeton and Financial Services Specialist Shelly Johnson are the go-to lenders for farm, rural home and land financing needs in the area.

The Farm Credit System will mark its 100-year anniversary in July. As a financial cooperative owned by the very customers they serve, Farm Credit has a proud history of understanding the needs of agricultural borrowers and the communities they serve.

"As Farm Credit turns 100 this year, we're proud that we'll be supporting the Washington County area from our new, larger location," said Keeton.

Keeton added, "Farm Credit has proven itself to be the lender that supports Arkansas agriculture in good economic times and bad. It's a tradition we'll continue as we embark on our next century of service."

Farm Credit of Western Arkansas has more than $1.1 billion in assets and is a part of the national Farm Credit System. With 20 branch offices and 110 employees, Farm Credit of Western Arkansas provides credit and financial services to more than 5,300 member-owners across 41 western Arkansas counties.
