Abstract Photography Exhibit

A solo exhibition of photographic artwork created by Fayetteville artist and award-winning fine art photographer Terry Dushan is on display at The Museum Gallery at Historic Cane Hill through Aug. 31. The museum, located at 14327 Highway 45 in Cane Hill, is open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and by appointment. Call 479-824-5339 for more information.

FARMINGTON

Seafood Buffet

Farmington Senior Wellness & Activity, 340 W. Main St., will have its first seafood buffet to raise money for the center and Meals on Wheels. The buffet will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 9. Cost is $20. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time or at the door but those with advanced tickets will be allowed to go through the line first. Buffet will have fish, shrimp, crab legs and all the fixings. James McKinney and Southern Justice Band will provide live music.

Sports Complex Grand Opening

Farmington High School will have a grand opening 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 15 at the new Farmington Sports Complex and Cardinal Stadium. The public is invited to see and tour the new facilities. The grand opening will include red and white scrimmages with the junior high and high school football games.

PRAIRIE GROVE

American Legion Breakfast

American Legion 146 will have its All U Can Eat Breakfast, 7-11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 10 at the Legion building, 120 S. Neal St. Breakfast includes biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes. Cost is $5/adults, $3 kids 6 and under. Proceeds benefit local Cub Scouts, scholarships and local veterans.

Soggy Doggy Pool Party

Friends of Prairie Grove Pound will sponsor their seventh annual Soggy Doggy Pool Party, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Prairie Grove Aquatic Park. Cost is $10/dog, people are free. For more information, call 846-DOGS.

Clothesline Gospel Sing

Anyone interested in singing at the Clothesline Fair Gospel Sing on Sunday, Sept. 1, please call Marion Cowwan at 479-841-3372. Each singer or group, please plan on 20-30 minutes of song. Everyone else bring your lawn chair and enjoy the music.
