Historic Cane Hill's concert series continues Saturday, May 18, with a concert by Ashtyn Barbaree, an internationally touring Indie-Americana singer/songwriter from Fayetteville.

Barbaree has a smokey, yet silky voice often accompanied by an 8-string tenor ukulele. She started playing in bars when she was only 15 years old and now plays 300 shows a year across the United States.

Her debut album, released April 2018, was recorded in Nashville, Tenn., with Nashville's finest session artists and has received national and international music reviews. Last summer, she won a public vote contest to be the final artist on Bike Rack Records. The compilation album, Bike Rack Records, Vol. 1, was released November 2018 at The Record in Bentonville.

She completed her first full band European tour as an ambassador for The House of Songs in November and December.

The concert begins at 7:15 p.m. with an opening act, followed by Barbaree. Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for the concert. Food trucks will be on site.

Historic Cane Hill is located at 14389 S. Highway 45. Follow the signs to the concert site.
