First Homecoming Celebration At Cardinal Stadium

FARMINGTON -- Farmington High School celebrated Homecoming Spirit week culminated by Friday's Homecoming football, 22-21, win over Clarksville and Homecoming dance Saturday at the high school commons.

Senior Kally Stout was selected as Homecoming queen.

Farmington 2018 Homecoming queen Mary Stewart-Beard returned to congratulate Stout during Homecoming festivities Friday at Cardinal Stadium marking the first time the event was held at the brand new $16 million Farmington Sports Complex.

Honor escorts, senior football players Drew Sturgeon and Marqwaveon Watson, were on hand to do their part. Watson presented flowers to Stout, and Sturgeon crowed her queen then christened the presentation with a kiss on the cheek.

The 2019 Homecoming court members included: attendants: football bearer, Harlan Pettigrew, son of Ryan and Meredith Pettigrew and grandson of Farmington head football coach Mike Adams and his wife, Robin; and crown bearer Anna Benish, daughter of Jason and Laura Benish; sophomore maid Remington Adams escorted by senior Jayden Pitts; sophomore maid Grace Boatright escorted by senior Andrew Azriman; junior maid Addison Fenton, escorted by senior Josh Stettmeier; junior maid Grace Mitchell escorted by senior Chris Clinghan; junior maid Shayley Treat escorted by senior Dentin Fletcher; senior maid Paige Anderson escorted by senior DeAngelo Cartright and senior Trevin Beaver; senior maid Julia Ortiz escorted by senior Kaustin Manary and senior Hayden Grantham; senior maid Kally Stout escorted by senior Colton Kilgore and senior Jaden Schrader; and senior maid Makenna Vanzant escorted by Kyle Welkley and Trey Williams.
