Lincoln 15, Providence Academy 0
The Lady Wolves needed only 3 innings to earn a run-rule 15-0 win on March 11. Junior Chloe Dawson tripled and drove in 2 runs. Junior Paisley Curtis went 3-for-3 with a triple and 2 RBIs. Lincoln bashed Providence for 16 hits and stole 13 bases. Paige Umberson struck out 6 in 3 scoreless innings of work.
Lincoln 3, Waldron 1
Lincoln hitters came through in the clutch driving in 2 runs in the top of the seventh to win 3-1 at Waldron on Tuesday, March 10. Junior Tiana Anderson (2-for-3) doubled and drove in a run. Senior Morgan Coker-Gage (1-for-4) also doubled and drove in a run as did Curtis.
Lincoln 8, Ozark 5
Lincoln ripped Ozark for 11 hits and 8 RBIs during a season-opening 8-5 win on Friday, March 6. Umberson (2-of-3), freshman Saylor Stidham (1-for-3), and freshman Ryleigh Landrum (1-for-3) each drove in 2 runs and accounted for 3 of Lincoln's 5 doubles. Umberson smacked a double and a triple. Umberson earned the win. She threw 3 innings allowing 4 runs on 3 hits issuing 1 walk with 5 strike-outs.
