FARMINGTON -- Farmington picked up a 4A-1 Conference road win at Gentry on Tuesday, Jan. 14 with the Cardinals winning 58-39 over the Pioneers.

Marqwaveon Watson got things started by making a steal in the jump circle at mid-court and finding an outlet to Logan Landwehr, who took the pass and went in for a layup. Gentry was within two points before Carson Simmon's 3-pointer gave Farmington some elbow room with a 16-11 lead late in the first quarter.

Landwehr dialed up another 3-pointer at the 5:10 mark of the second giving Farmington a 25-11 lead. Simmons hit again from 3-point range in the third quarter expanding the lead to 38-20. Noah Disheroon's trey made the differential 58-36 on the scoreboard in favor of Farmington with 1:27 to go. The Cardinals won big, 58-39. Farmington had Friday off. The Cardinals returned to action Tuesday against Berryville then celebrate Colors Day Friday at home with Shiloh Christian coming to Cardinal Arena.
