LINCOLN -- Ever since she put the 2021 Lincoln Riding Club Junior Queen crown on Chloie Thomas, 14, daughter of Andrew and Ashley Thomas of Farmington, blazed a trail.

Chloie's duties representing the organization across the region began Aug. 14, 2021, when she was declared the winner after finishing first in the interview, speech and appearance categories of the 2021 junior queen contest, and she's capitalized upon many opportunities to showcase rodeo.

In early May, Chloie and LRC Princess Emma Parker jumped at a chance to be a part of a photo shoot with two national title holders, 2022 Miss Rodeo USA Jessie Lynn Nichols, of Prattville, Ala, and 2020 Miss Rodeo USA Brooke Wallace, of Council Grove, Kan.

Nichols was crowned Miss Rodeo USA 2022 during the 52nd Annual International Finals Rodeo (IFR) at Guthrie, Okla., on January 16, an annual event sanctioned by the International Professional Rodeo Association (IPRA) and the Miss Rodeo USA Association.

She considers her horses, Missy, Dan and Leo, teammates while engaging in pageant competitions. Chloie tells folks that she has been taught something different and continues to learn from her teammates as they travel the rodeo trail. Chloie endeavors to match her accomplishments in the rodeo arena in the show arena.
