Prior to the season, Covington bet his players that if they went undefeated they could shave his head, which they gleefully indulged themselves in doing on Friday morning. The junior Cardinals defeated Prairie Grove, 63-6, on Thursday to wrap up a 10-0 season and the Northwest River Valley Conference championship.

FARMINGTON -- A Thursday, Nov. 2, junior high rivalry amounted to the best of games for Farmington and the worst of games for Prairie Grove with the junior Cardinals winning big, 63-6.
