Lincoln Coaching Vacancy Update

LINCOLN -- The vacant head baseball coaching position at Lincoln will soon be filled according to athletic director Deon Birkes.

"We are looking at every option possible and will make the best possible choice for our kids," Birkes said in an email responding to queries from the ENTERPRISE-LEADER concerning the job opening created by the resignation of Brad Harris.

In the email received just before going to press, Birkes said a decision will be made before the next school board meeting scheduled for Aug. 18, which is also the first day of school at Lincoln.
