About St. John's Northwestern Military Academy

Subscriber onlyThe St. John's Northwestern Post Graduate - Advantage Year Athlete Program is hailed as being more unique than many of the other similar programs elsewhere in America. The program lasts one-year, in a post-secondary environment tailored to athletes, who want to play college basketball. Among the academic opportunities, student-athletes may repeat and substitute necessary core high school classes to gain college eligibility. Freshman-level college credits may be obtained in English, mathematics, social studies, and physical/natural sciences. College-level courses are taught by University of Wisconsin professors from the nearby Waukesha UW campus. The program begins in mid-August and ends in May. Continue reading...
