Can You Believe -- The Year 2015 Is Half Over

The fields are all beautifully green again, after the balers cleaned them up, harvesting the first hay crop of the year.

So, the grass is growing too fast on the lawn, and I wonder if anyone has thought of a small baler that would pick up all that grass after the mowing of the overgrown grass!

Sunday was another special day at Sugar Hill Church, with some surprises. A friend called me Saturday, she and another friend wanted to attend church with me, so we all went together. Just before church, in walked several people, all who regularly attend the Senior Center, where Pastor Rick is the daily bus driver, taking the members to Walmart, doctors' offices, on fun trips, or "just to eat out." They decided to surprise him, since it was Father's Day. Barbara Holden also attended Sunday, and sang one of her specials, along with Chris Rogers--- a happily eventful day of worship.

Can you believe, the year 2015 is half over; and now July is family reunion month, recreation and parks, car care, straw hat, stress awareness, anti-boredom, water gardening, blueberries, ice-cream, pecan, hot dog, baked beans, and grilling month. It is also humor month, so --
