The Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce announced this week that the 2015 Young Woman of the Year recipient is Prairie Grove native Natalie Bartholomew. Bartholomew is a fifth generation resident of northwest Arkansas and a third generation banker.

Established four years ago by the Bentonville/Bella Vista Chamber of Commerce, the Young Woman of the Year award is presented at the Northwest Arkansas Business Women's Conference, an annual conference focusing on professional and personal development of business women. The award honors a young woman who not only demonstrates great leadership qualities, but also gives back to her community through mentorship and volunteerism. Past recipients include Sarah Phipps, vice president of regional sales for Simmons Bank, Ulanda Terry, director of diversity for Tyson Foods, Inc. and Meredith Brunen, executive director of development for the Northwest Arkansas Community College Foundation.

The 2015 recipient, Natalie Bartholomew, is vice president, marketing and private banking for First National Bank of NWA where she recently led the effort in rebranding the bank's name and logo. Natalie was also instrumental in crafting a community-driven image for First National Bank of NWA by engaging her co-workers in local outreach. The bank's team currently focuses their volunteer efforts on the Boys and Girls Club of Benton County, the Children's Advocacy Center of Benton County and the United Way of NWA.

Bartholomew's resume includes a master's degree in agricultural economics from the University of Arkansas, third generation board member of the Washington County Fair Association, 2015 graduate of Leadership Benton County, board member of the Single Parent Scholarship Fund of NWA and mentor at the Boys and Girls Club of Benton County.

Bartholomew will accept her award on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015 at the John Q. Hammons Center in Rogers, Ark. during the Business Women's Conference. For more information on this year's winner visit www.nwabusinesswomensconference.com.
