FARMINGTON -- Farmington City Council accepted two bids in a special meeting last week to repair and overlay city streets.
Tomlinson Asphalt Co., of Fayetteville, submitted the low bids for both projects.
Council members approved a bid of $181,360 to make extensive repairs for Wolfdale Road from Holland Drive to a point west of Archie Watkins Road, and then to overlay Wolfdale from Holland Drive to South Hunter Street.
The Council also approved a bid of $120,603 for asphalt overlays on Wesley Stevens Road and Archie Watkins Road.
