Pinkerton Named Assistant Superintendent

FARMINGTON -- Folsom Principal Stephanie Pinkerton will cross the highway this summer and fill the vacant assistant superintendent's position for Farmington School District.

Farmington School Board last week unanimously voted to promote Pinkerton to assistant superintendent. Pinkerton has served as principal at Bob Folsom Elementary School on Grace Lane for seven years, since it opened in fall 2008. Before going to Folsom, she served as assistant principal at Williams Elementary for two years and as principal at Ledbetter for one year.

As an assistant superintendent, she will serve alongside Terri Strope, also an assistant superintendent in the administration office on Double Springs Road.

Bryan Law, Farmington's superintendent of schools, said he is excited to have Pinkerton come on board in the district office.
