Lincoln High School held its second LHS Career Day for the school year on Jan. 22. Career Days are designed to educate high school students about the multitude of career opportunities in Northwest Arkansas and better prepare them for the workforce.

The first LHS Career Day held Nov. 20, 2015, offered six breakout sessions focusing on the Arkansas Career Pathways. Afterward, students were surveyed and asked what career fields they would be interested in learning more about.

The second LHS Career Day offered 13 breakout sessions with Northwest Arkansas business leaders. Participants included Lincoln High School graduates who spoke to the students about numerous career opportunities and educational requirements within their given career fields.
